The Man Behind the Mission

Clipper Darrell is a native of Los Angeles and a lifelong Clippers National Basketball Association enthusiast.

In 2014, former Clippers co-owner Shelly Sterling presented him with the title of "Clippers Number One Fan", a recognition that reflects his decades of devotion to the team and the city he loves.

From the Stands to the Streets

What began as a passion for basketball grew into something far greater. Clipper Darrell saw firsthand the challenges facing families in Lynwood, Watts, and Compton, and decided that love for a team wasn't enough. Real loyalty meant showing up for the community, not just the court.

Through Clipper Darrell Cares, he partners with LA Clippers coaches, local organizations, and corporate sponsors to deliver meals, gifts, mental health resources, and youth development programs directly to those who need them most.
